Last updated: November 17, 2025

1. Introduction

Welcome to Search Overseer (the “Service”). These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and the operator of Search Overseer (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

Search Overseer orchestrates multiple autonomous AI agents to gather information from public sources, synthesize insights, and present reasoned results with citations and confidence indicators. The Service operates on a credits-based model and may integrate with third-party platforms and data providers.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or have reached the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity and authority to enter into these Terms.

5. Credits and Billing

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

7. Third‑Party Services and Content

The Service may reference or link to third‑party services, websites, and data sources. We do not endorse or assume responsibility for third‑party content or policies. Your interactions with third parties are solely between you and those third parties.

8. Intellectual Property

9. User Content and Feedback

You are responsible for the content you submit. You grant us a worldwide, royalty‑free license to host, process, and display your content as necessary to operate and improve the Service. If you provide feedback, you grant us the right to use it without obligation.

10. Privacy

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to such processing. Do not submit personal, sensitive, or confidential information that is unnecessary for use of the Service.

Queries & Results Confidentiality. Your search queries, intermediate agent notes, and final synthesized results are treated as confidential workspace data. They are not sold, licensed, or intentionally shared with any third party, and they are not used to train external foundation models. Access is restricted to systems required to execute, store, and display them to you. Human access is limited to (a) resolving a support ticket you initiate, (b) investigating a security or abuse incident, or (c) complying with a valid legal request. We never browse or mine your queries for marketing or analytics beyond aggregated, anonymized metrics (e.g., volume counts) that cannot identify you or your content.

Deletion Rights. You may permanently delete individual queries and their results through the interface where available or by contacting support; deletion requests are processed within a reasonable timeframe and will remove the data from active systems. Backups may persist for a limited retention window after deletion but are purged on their normal rotation and are not restored except for disaster recovery. Once purged, the data is irrecoverable.

11. Disclaimers

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising from or relating to your use of the Service, whether based in contract, tort, or otherwise, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amounts you paid to us for the Service in the six (6) months preceding the event giving rise to liability.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your content; or (c) your violation of these Terms.

14. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you breach these Terms, cause risk or harm to others, or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

15. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by posting the updated Terms on the Service or via email. Your continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.

16. Governing Law; Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of your local jurisdiction where our entity is established, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in that jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws.

17. Refund Policy

We issue refunds only when a failure is caused by our systems. Examples include:

Refunds are not granted for, without limitation: change of mind, dissatisfaction with research outcomes, misuse or policy violations, account or environment misconfiguration, third‑party website/API outages, or exceeding rate limits. Where appropriate, we may re‑credit your account instead of issuing a monetary refund.

To request a refund, contact support with your order ID, account email, and a description of the issue within 14 days of purchase. We may require logs or additional information to diagnose the problem. All refunds are processed to the original payment method by our payment provider. This policy does not limit any rights you may have under applicable consumer laws.
